Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Today we hosted our fathers and father figures for breakfast. It was great to catch up with them, to pray for them and their important role within the lives of our children. Our Stage 2 students led a Prayer Assembly for our fathers. My thanks go to Louise Sprowles for organising this event. We’ve attached a photo gallery of the gathering.

Please register for our upcoming Trivia Night - see article below. A notification will be sent shortly through Compass with all the details.

When: Tuesday 13th September @ 5pm

Dinner: Pizzas (GF option available)

Dessert: Ice-cream or tarts

Cost: $5 per person.

The night promises to be a great community building event. There will be lucky door prizes and lots of fun games in between trivia rounds. We look forward to seeing you and testing your knowledge!

The last day of term will be Thursday 22nd September. Our Staff Spirituality Day will be on Friday 23rd of September; as such this day is a pupil free day.

Regards,

Nathan Trezise,

Principal

We are honoured to be on the ancestral lands of the Gumbaynggirr people. We acknowledge the First Australians as the traditional custodians of the continent, whose cultures are among the oldest living cultures in human history. We pay respect to the Elders of the community and extend our recognition to their descendants who are present.

Fathers' Day Breakfast & Liturgy

Thank you to all those fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who attended our Father's Day Breakfast and Liturgy today. The car park was jam-packed with utes this morning! Everyone enjoyed some tasty bacon & egg rolls and coffee, followed by a short liturgy. We have had some lovely feedback about the morning.

Kindergarten Parent Information Morning

We enjoyed welcoming the families of our Kindergarten students in to school yesterday to find out a bit about how they are learning to read and write with our InitiaLit program. It is so exciting as educators to see the students grasp the concepts of reading, and we loved sharing this with our families.

2022 Book Week Update
