Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome back after the Spring School holidays; we have a busy term ahead of us.

This week four of our students competed in the Regional Public Speaking Finals in Coffs Harbour. We congratulate Xavier B, Cooper H, Ivy M and Abbi M on making it to the finals of this competition. They learnt a lot about public speaking and got to see some outstanding presentations. We look forward to hearing their feedback and preparing for next time based on what they have learnt.

As you would know, swimming commenced this week. It will be held each Thursday during Term 4, weather permitting. As it is part of the curriculum, if your child is not swimming for any reason, we request that a note be sent to the class teacher on the day.

This term we have a number of celebrations planned. Please note the following dates and come and join us for these events:

Monday 24th October @ 1:00pm - Grandparents' Day

Monday 14th November @ 2:30 pm - Learning Fair (showcasing student writing)

Monday 12th December @ 2:00 pm - Awards Assembly

Wednesday 14th December @ 2:00pm - Year 6 Graduation Liturgy

Kindergarten Orientation begins next Tuesday - more information about this is included below. Enrolments are now open for 2023, please book an interview if you have not already done so and have a new student enrolling for next year.

Regards,

Nathan Trezise,

Principal
